CARIBBEANANDTAIWAN

Welcome to Caribbean and Taiwan, where we celebrate the rich stories and cultural connections between Taiwan and the Caribbean. Our platform highlights the journeys of both ordinary and extraordinary individuals from Taiwan and five steadfast Caribbean allies: Haiti, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and Belize.

We strive to convey an awe-inspiring sense of Taiwan and its offerings, paralleling a similar appreciation for the Caribbean as a unified, culture-rich entity. The Caribbean is home to intelligent, ascendant peoples who are increasingly aware of their process of growth and their immense organic wealth. This shared journey of self-discovery and development is central to our mission.

DEEP CONNECTION

Taiwan has a long history of diplomatic relations with these Caribbean nations, starting from the mid-20th century. These partnerships are marked by substantial development aid, technical assistance, and educational exchanges. Through initiatives in infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, and education, Taiwan has significantly contributed to the development and resilience of these Caribbean countries. At Caribbean and Taiwan, we are committed to highlighting these impactful stories and showcasing the deep connections that unite Taiwan and the Caribbean.
